So here’s what caused all the massive delay:

• School started again.
• People annoy me.
• Tun is a homo.
• Anirena, lol. Speaking of which, we’re using a multi-tracker system now. Nyaatorrents will be used for people who can’t connect to Anirena.
• I’m sick right now. D:
• And most importantly: I’m lazy!

Delays, lol

So I decided to finally take some time and work on Ran 02 tonight despite being nagged by people for about 20 other things. It’s close to being done now, but it won’t be out for a little while. The reason it’s going to be delayed longer is thanks to Anirena’s new “anti-anti-piracy” policy which blocks certain IPs from connecting to their tracker. Well unfortunately, it blocks out a bunch of legitimate IPs as well, and the box I use for seeding is one of the ones that got blocked. Therefore, until they get rid of the blocks, I can’t really release much. Anyone who is upset can send their complaints to Anirena.

The Telepathy Girl Ran 01

I know, we’re slow, but forget that. We’ve got a new series, The Telepathy Girl Ran. She has a funny name that sounds like an English word and she can make grumpy faces like this!

Also, please note that we decided to be extra cool for the mkv version and use a magical feature called Ordered Chapters. This means that the opening and ending animations are stored in separate videos from the episodes themselves. The benefit is that you only have to download the songs once, saving valuable disk space and reducing download time. We also used editions, which allow you to download a different set of opening and ending videos without our group’s karaoke effects/translations instead of the default set.

To use the ordered chapters, you merely have to have the opening and ending videos in the same folder as the episode you’re watching. As long as you have Haali’s Media Splitter installed and are using a respectable player such as MPC or Zoomplayer (which are all included with CCCP, see the Video Playback section for help), the opening and ending will automatically play at the appropriate points in each episode.
